SilaGo ("we," "us") is a platform that connects customers with independent detailing professionals. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information — your name, email address, and phone number.
- Service information — your vehicles and the addresses where you'd like service.
- Payment information — payments are processed by our payment provider (Stripe). Card numbers never touch SilaGo's systems; we store only payment references and transaction status.
- Usage information — basic device and app activity used to keep the service secure and reliable.
How we use your information
- To operate the service — quotes, bookings, payments, and customer support.
- To send you service communications about your bookings and account.
- To keep the platform safe — fraud prevention and professional verification.
- To meet legal obligations.
Text messaging (SMS)
When you provide your phone number, you agree to receive text messages from SilaGo related to your bookings and account — such as booking confirmations, appointment reminders, and service status updates. Message frequency varies with your bookings. Message and data rates may apply.
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, or by turning off text messages in your app settings. Reply HELP for help, or contact support@silago.io.
Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information — including phone numbers and SMS consent — with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
When we share information
We share information only with service providers that operate the platform on our behalf — payment processing, message and email delivery, and professional background verification — and only as needed to provide the service. We never sell your personal information.
When you book a service, the professional you booked sees the information needed to perform the job (your name, service address, and vehicle details) — never your payment details.
Data retention and deletion
You can delete your account from inside the app at any time. Deletion requests are processed within 30 days. Some records (such as transaction history) may be retained longer where the law requires it.
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit and restricted access to personal data.
Children
SilaGo is not directed to children and may not be used by anyone under the age of 18.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will post the updated policy here and update the effective date above.
